Burial: will follow in the St Labre Cemetery in Ashland, MT
On October 21, 2009 Mark Whiteman left this earth to be with our Father in Heaven, OurCreator.
Mark was born on November 19, 1973, the son of Ivor Whiteman and Ursula Brady.
He is preceded in death by his parents, and his sister Christine Whiteman.
Mark is survived by his brother, David Whiteman, aunts Rebecca Brady-Spicer, and Loretta Bell, uncle Stanley Brady,his children Christina, Malachai "Stoney", Faylena, Charlie Ace, Donovan, and foster family, Winslow, Charlotte, Deanna, and Isaiah Whitecrane. He is also survived by his cousins James, Joe John, Jay, George, MaryLou, Michael,Eugene, Richard and Maynard Whiteman. Mark held a special place in his heart for the women in his life who include, Samantha Ridgebear, Kathy Vallie, Dorinda Brokenrope, and Rhonda Anderson. Father Paschal was also a good friend who Mark turned to when he needed help. Mark had numerous family members and friends that he loved and cared for; if we failed to mention your name, we are truly sorry!
Mark grew upon the Northern Cheyenne Reservation but moved to the Billings area later in life.While growing up on the reservation, Mark attended school in Lame Deer and a St Labre. Mark spenta lot of time with hisbest friends' Sheldon Foote, Gabe Hart,Conrad Standing Elk, and Danny Carlson. He alsostayed with their families fromtime to time. As many of you know, Mark had alove for Art. He had a special talent of drawing and he could draw just about anything! Throughout his life, Mark liked to do numerous activities, he never kept still. He enjoyed going fishing, swimming and hiking,he loved to travel, playing basketball, playing the guitar and the drums. He enjoyed listening to music,but most of all, he loved spending time with his children. Mark had a great sense of humor and was always joking around with his family members and friends. Heenlightened us all with his personality. Mark was also well known for giving a helping hand to everyone who needed help, even if it meant giving up his last quarter. Mark cared for us all in a special loving way and we all have our own memories of his love to cherish throughout our lives.

until I he started drinking I didn’t know him that much but I just wished that I.could’ve got 2 know him just a lil bit more n R.I.P. Mark Whiteman. Ps. Its been a good pleasure meeting u Mark
