Mark Bird Wilson, age 48, of Belgrade, MT, formerly of Miles City, MT, passed away at the Bozeman Deaconess Hospital on Saturday, September 4, 2010.
Mark grew up in Miles City raising cain with all of his brothers and sisters, fishing and hunting with his father and learning wisdom and love from his mother. On August 26, 1982 he married his loving wife Marlene. They lived in Helena for four years where Mark worked construction and their son, Sonny was born. In 1986, they moved to Newberg, OR and had their daughter, Amanda in 1989. In 1997, they moved back to Miles City until 2003 when they moved to Belgrade and remained ever since.
Mark loved spending time with his children and his dogs. He enjoyed gardening and making his famous salsa which he shared with everyone. He and Marlene spent many hours riding on their Harley enjoying the fresh mountain air. Many late nights were spent playing games with family and friends. This we will truly miss.
Mark is survived by his mother Connie Wilson of Miles City, MT; his wife Marlene Wilson of Belgrade, MT; a son Sonny (Tawnia) Wilson of Bozeman, MT; a daughter Amanda Dianna Wilson and her fianc Cody of Belgrade, MT; three brothers: Daniel Wilson of Shandon, CA; Dave (Wendy) Wilson of Memphis, TN and Timothy Wilson of Miles City, MT; and one grandchild, Joseph Michael Casey Weber and two step grandchildren: Jeyden and Boston Crouch. He was preceded in death by his father Will Wilson and two sisters (twins): Laurie and Linda Wilson.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 8, 2010 with family receiving friends from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Stevenson and Sons Chapel in Miles City. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, September 9, 2010 at 11:00 am at Stevenson and Sons Funeral Home in Miles City. Interment will be held at a later date. In Lieu of flowers, due to Marks love of animals, memorials may be made to the Miles City Animal Shelter. Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home of Miles City is in charge of the arrangements.
