Marlene Fay Whiteman, age 62, of Ogden Utah, formerly of Lame Deer Born in Crow Agency. Sunrise March 15,1963 Sunset October 22, 2025. Daughter of Dorene Whiteman and sister to Keri Lynn Bird Hat (Predeceased). A Loving Daughter, Sister, Mother and Grandmother. A proud member of the Northern Cheyenne. Marlene attended St. Labre Indian school, Busby, and upward bound, later to attend Job corp in Clearfield Utah. She excelled and had a love for math and basketball. “Marz” as many friends would come to call her loved to cook, draw, listen to music was a lover of nature and the great outdoors. She loved a nice walk and good company. Survived by her four daughters Lonnie Michelle Bordeaux, Jalessa Lynn Whiteman Barnes, Memory Cardenas And Savannah Hallett. Grandchildren Jocelynn Wysinger, Darrian Barnes, Kayshaun Barnes, Jayla Barnes, Ariyah Polk, Zayvia Tolman, Elijah Hallett and Fenix Hallett. Marlene’s spirit will live on through her children, grandchildren friends and family. Wake and Rosary will be held 7:00 pm Friday November 7, 2025 at Lame Deer Catholic Church (Blessed Sacrament Church) and Mass will be celebrated 11:00 A.M. November 8, 2025.

Darn it Marlene she was my classmate back then we didn’t know family backgrounds we survived. We all attended st labre we all thought we would be ok. We didn’t know history of what happened as to why they were there but we got along and we survived. I will miss you fly high..
