Marsha Ann Southard, age 23 of Gillette, Wyoming, died August 13, 2003, in Chillicothe, Texas, of injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
Funeral Services will be 2:00 p.m., Monday, August 18, 2003 at the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, with Pastor Andrew Carsrud of the Family Life Church in Gillette. Internment will follow at Mount Pisgah Cemetery in Gillette. Visitation will be Saturday, August 16 and Sunday August 17, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Stevenson-Wilson Funeral Home in Gillette.
Marsha Ann Southard, born May 11, 1980, in Lansing, Michigan, daughter of Sandra and Bill West, and Earl Southard. In 1981, Marsha moved with her parents to Gillette where she attended elementary school, Twin Spruce Junior High and graduated in 1998 from Campbell County High School. Upon graduating, she became the mother, Codi Rayann and Kaylee Lynn. In 1999, she obtained her Certified Nursing Assistant license. She began work at the Campbell County Memorial Hospital as a CNA where she was employed. Being a CNA was a reflection of her life. Marsha was loved and cherished by many friends and family. Her gift of laughter and generosity touched so many people. Marshas smile was a ray of sunlight to anyone who knew her. This sunlight will be carried on through her two beautiful girls.
Marsha was survived by her daughters: Codi Rayann Southard, age five and Kaylee Lynn Hadle, age 3; her fianc, Matt Peterson all of Gillette, Wyoming; her parents Sandra and Bill West of Gillette, Wyoming, Earl Southard of Rapid City, South Dakota; four sisters: Jodi Rudicil and family of Muskegon, Michigan; Jamie Hooker and family of Gillette, Wyoming; Shelly Besel and family of Gillette, Wyoming; Michelle Duncan and family of Connell, Washington; four brothers: Jerry Moore and family of Spearfish, South Dakota; Chris West and family of Spearfish, South Dakota; Corey West and family of Gillette, Wyoming; and James West and family of Gillette, Wyoming; and numerous nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, and other family members and friends.
