Martika (Tik) Lee OtherBull , Peve’mean’a “Pretty Woman Trail”, began her journey on Twenty-May-Fifth, 1989. She left us to be with her baby sister SJ on January 21, 2018. She was born to Arbutus RedWoman and Morton OtherBull, Jr. She grew up in Lame Deer, MT, Cheyenne Country, amongst many cousins and was an enrolled member of the Crow Tribe. Tik was best known for her sass! She always had something witty to say back to you and always had the last word. She was always the first to know everything and keep everyone informed. She began her education at Lame Deer Public School before attending high school at Lame Deer, Billings Senior and finally graduating from Riverton High. She worked at Wal-Mart as a cashier and most recently as a tutor with the TRIO program at Chief Dull Knife College where she also graduated with her A.A. degree. She loved swimming, cruising the back roads, listening to music, playing a game of volleyball out at “The Land”, and laughing and visiting with her family. She especially loved cooking delicious meals from and scratch with her own spices and it didn’t matter whose house she was at, she was welcome at so many! If the kids were hungry they knew to call on Auntie Tik.
Sis had many brothers and sisters throughout her stages of life that include: Curtis “George” Elkshoulder, Jr; Tina Threefingers; Shalena OtherBull; Alliana Brady; Adrian “Reno” Spang, Jr; and Johnathan Threefingers.
She is survived by her grandparents, Morton and Bertha OtherBull, Sr. who she took great care of; her parents, Arbutus RedWoman and Morton OtherBull, Jr.; her big sister, Jolynn Reann OtherBull; her little brothers, Jacob James OtherBull and Emmanuel Taye WhistlingElk; her princess, Nadonis Taye OtherBull; her prince and sweet boy, Jacobe-Atlas Clyde OtherBull; the nephews, Atreyo Cole OtherBull and Kyrei Reign (Iron Maiden); and her special aunties, Judy Threefingers and Alice Oceola. She will be warmly received by her baby sister, Sarah Josephine OtherBull; her grandma, Lillian Threefingers; her uncle, Lucian RisingSun, and many other relatives.
Her family is very large and includes OtherBull, WhistlingElk, RedWoman, ThreeFingers, Hill, Medicine Horse, Horn, Stops, Backer, RisingSun, and many, many others.
Tik is so beautiful. She will be loved, missed and remembered. Her legacy of kindness, laughter, and beauty will live on forever!

Bea and family….I am so sorry to hear of your loss. You will be in my prayers, that God grants special comfort in the days ahead.

My heart goes out to the Otherbull family and friends of Martika in your time of sorrow. I know Martika has left you with many precious memories from his 28 way too short years with us. When death robs us of someone we love very much, it causes much sadness and grief. “Jehovah (Psalm 83:18) is close to the brokenhearted; He saves those who are crushed in spirit.” (Psalm 34:18) Isaiah 33:24 guarantees us: “And no resident will say “I am sick,” ever again. Revelations 21: 4 says: “And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore.” The family is in my prayers and I offer my heartfelt condolences.

Your family will be in my prayers and just ask Maheo to guide you through the peace and acceptance needed during this most difficult and heartbreaking time. And most importantly take care of each other during this difficult time. I continue to burn cedar for your family.

I am so sorry for your loss during this difficult time. May the Otherbull family find comfort knowing that God will soon end all tears, pain, and death (Revelation 21:4). He also promises that we will see Martika and our loved ones again by means of a resurrection (John 5:28,29). Please accept my condolences during this difficult time. Words cannot express the pain I know you are going through. It is better to hold on to the memories and all the love that was shared by Tik and cherish them. It’s hard to be strong during a time like this but as Tik would say, Hey buckle up we can get through this! My prayers, love and support goes out to all of you JR, Bee, Jake, Jolyn, Little Man & especially the little ones Nadonis & Jacobe. Prayers go out to Bert & Rick the grandparents that meant the world to her. I know she will be truly missed there’s no doubt in that. Just remember when you see the sun come up in the morning and set at night she lives within in each and everyone of you! Love you guys, take care & God bless!!
