Marvin F Langan 66 of Livingston, formally of Colstrip passed away early Jan 24, 2013 at his home of congestive heart failure.
He was born in Rolla North Dakota on December 5, 1946 to Frank and Jean (Slater) Langan.
Marv moved his family to Colstrip in 1974 where he worked for the Montana Power Company as a mechanic for many years. He also worked for LP Contracting until 2005.
Marv enjoyed riding his Harley and loved his “scooter trash” family. He enjoyed doing leather work, creating several different kinds of leather products; one in particular was his pool stick case. This is what he carried to all the pool games he loved so much. Carving diamond willow, decorating them with Indian art and making walking sticks was another favorite for him. Last but not least he enjoyed his five grandchildren Kye, Joseph, Zachary, Brina and Haley whom he shared a birthday date with.
Marv is survived by his daughters Leslie Hull (Brian) and Tauna Albert (Bobby) his five grandchildren, Haley, Zach, Joseph, Brina, & Kye, his parents Frank and Jean Langan of Great Falls, Rick Langan (Dorothy) Francine Pinson, (Al deceased) Tug Langan (Betty) Kathy Davis (Ron) numerous nieces, nephews, and good friends including Don and Sherry Taurman, Larry Pattison and many more close friends.
