Interment: will follow in the family lot of the Custer County Cemetery
Marvin DeanTracas, age 57, of Miles City passed away on Sunday, January 6, 2008 at his home in Miles City.
Marvin was born on August 27, 1950 in White Rock Township, near Esbon, Kansas. Marvin was adopted at a young age by Nicholas and Sylvia (Haley)Tracas. He attended schools in Miles City and graduated from Custer County High School in 1969. Marvin always looked forward to attending all of his class reunions and everyone from the class of 1969 knew him well. Marvin worked for awhile as a cottage life attendant at Pine Hills School for boys. Marvin married Cindy Carpenter July 14, 1978 in Miles City. Marvin remained in Miles City until the time of his death.
Marvin loved to talk about the Lord to anyone that was willing to listen. He was a very caring person who pretty much kept to himself. Marvin had a very big heart and would help anyone that was in need. He attended Grace Bible Church, Sacred Heart Catholic Church and at the time of his death he was attending the Methodist Church. Marvin will be missed by numerous friends and his church families.
Marvin is survived by four brothers: Dan, Fred, Tom and Merle; and a sister, Rose. He was preceded in death by his adopted parents, Nicholas and Sylvia Tracas.
