Mary Marjorie Beecher was born July 24, 1924 in Belaire, OH, the oldest child of Margaret May (Underwood) and Wallace Paige Green.
Mary was raised in and around Winnett and graduatedfrom Winnett High School. Mary was united in marriage to Walter Raymond Beecher on June 11, 1942 and from that union three sons were born, Floyd Raymond, Donald Glen and James Jay. Mary spent the majority of her life as a ranch wife caring for her family and helping on the family ranches in the Winnett, Snow Creek and Cohagen areas. Mary later moved to Jordan and provided countless hours of loving care for her grandchildren and many local residents' children for the rest of her life. Mary's life was her family and she was always up for a new adventure.
She shared a close and loving relationship with her siblings, taking road trips, playing board and card games and reminiscing about their younger years. She was immensely proud and supportive of her grandchildren. Mary passed away on March 16, 2009.
She is survived by her sons, Floyd (Kay) Beecher, Glen Beecher and Jim (Karen) Beecher, grandchildren Dawn (John) Ripley, Pam (S.J.) Cayer, Bryce (Kristin) Beecher, Charles (Kacey) Beecher, Brandi, Staci, Kristi and Mitzi Beecher and great grandchildren Michael and Anna Ripley; Laramie Kyhl, Wyatt, Casey and Garrett Cayer; Seeley Beecher and Jordan Beecher; her brother Henry (Louise) Green and her sister, Dorothy (Gene) Gere. She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters: Udell Kibbey andDarlene Schmeizer, brother Emery Paige "Bud" Green and daughter-in-law, Jill Beecher.
Cremation has taken place and interment of Mary's ashes will be held at a later date. Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home of Jordan is in charge of the arrangements
