Mary Ellen Frost, age 90, of Terry, Montana passed away on Monday, April 18, 2005 at Prairie Community Health Center in Terry.
Mary was born on April 25, 1914 in Queen City, Missouri, the daughter of Alva & Effie (Buckalew) Ledford. She lived in Centerville, Iowa till the age of 10 when the family moved to the Elmdale Community north of Richey. She married Ralph Frost on September 21, 1930 at the Methodist Church inOpheim, Montana. Ralph ran a mail route inOpheim for several years and they farmed in the Sidney area. In 1944, they moved to the Buffalo Rapids Project between Fallon and Glendive and farmed there until 1980 when they retired and moved to Terry.
Mary is survived by her son, Keith Frost and his wife Doris and their children,Tana (Tom) Huft, Cindy (Greg) Ban and Jeff Frost; seven great grandchildren: JenniferHuft, Bryan Huft, Lindsay (Keith) Emerson, Amber (Chad) OMalley, Joel (Emily) Ban,Jamy (Amber) Frost and Danyl Frost, and three great, great grandchildren: Sydney Emerson,Kennieth and Austin Ban; four sisters: Phil (Lester) Clapper, Doris (Ed) Banta, Martha (Harrison) Lowe, Corky (Dale)Blackler,; and two brothers: John (Debbie) Ledford and Allen (Bev) Ledford.
She was preceded in death by her husband Ralph on February 29, 1988 and two sisters: Margie Ledford and Georgie (Leo) Bailey.
Prayer services will be held on Thursday, April 21, 2005 at 7:00 p.m. at Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home in Terry. Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 22, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. in the Hope American Lutheran Church in Fallon with Pastor LeonRathbun officiating.
