Mary Katherine Eagle (Pretty Moccasin Woman) 26 went to be with Tunkasila on January 23, 2013 after battling a serious illness and the recent discovery of Lymphoma.
Mary is the daughter of LaVern Eagle and the late Mary Ann Eagle. She was raised in the Ashland area. She went to middle school at Ashland Public and graduated eighth grade and later attended High School at St. Labre Indian School She played Volleyball and Basketball while attending St. Labre. She graduated from there as well in 2005.
After graduating high school she stayed in the Ashland and worked for St. Labre at various departments. Her latest job was Security for St. Labre until July. Mary loved to be with her children Wanbli Eagle and Milah Haugen they were her pride and joy’s. She also made sure she had time for her friends and family to hang and laugh and tell jokes. She always had a beautiful smile on her face no matter what her situation was.
Mary is survived by her father LaVern Eagle, brothers Eli Eagle, Frankie James Eagle of Poplar, sister Tiffany Eagle her two children both of Ashland MT, A special stepmother Amy Foote and her friends she considered sisters Ashley Hopkins, Sarah Big Eagle, Kittybelle Fisher, Trisha Sherman, Destinee Robinson and Roberta Hart. Mary also leaves behind her special niece Akyla Redbird and her two nephews Dareall and Derryis Redbird. Her Aunts Ann (Daniel) Foote, Susan Eagle. Uncles Bruce Eagle, Stanley (LaDonna) Eagle, Theophile (Sharon) Eagle, Frank (Marilyn) Eagle, Benny (Mary) Eagle, aunts Barbara Bement (Harlen), Rita Shoulderblade, Ike (Henrietta) Bement, Robert Bement. Also leaves behind ALL of her nieces, nephews, and cousins. And the families of Bements, Burns, Fishers, Footes, Harris, Hollowbreast, Two Bulls, Two Two’s, Shoulderblade, and Robinsons. She was preceded in death by her mother Mary Ann Eagle, Uncle Morris Bement and her grandparents from both sides of the family.
Wake services will at 7:00p.m. on Monday January 28, 2013 at the St. Labre Church
Funeral Services will be on Tuesday January 29, 2013 at 11:00a.m. at the Soaring Eagle Gym at St. Labre

I am sorry to hear of your loss i hear caner is hard to cure .I herard some treatment can cause health probbelmes like kiddeny failer .Thats why I treated my self with herbel meds.My hair did fall out some but not all it took 5 yreas but I kicked it was a nodual on my lung. My Doctor did not mind the method I chose .He moniterd it to see if the medicine was working it did .I feel beter but I still do the treatment because I did hear it dose come back it happend to a person related to my adopted family he was in his 40s .It is sad to lose some one you grown up around .
