Mary Radman McCurdy, 97, of Broadus, Montana passed away on Wednesday, October 22, 2014 at Friendship Villa in Miles City with her daughters by her side.
Mary was born March 18, 1917 to Michael and Rose Radman in Brooklyn, New York. She attended school in Brooklyn through eighth grade and went to a two year trade school where she learned to sew. After Bob asked her to marry him, she bravely left the “big city” to move out west. They were married on June 14, 1947 in Broadus, Montana. Bob and Mary lived in Broadus for 60 years and raised five girls.
Mary was preceded in death by her father, mother, two sisters, two brothers and her husband Bob. She is survived by her five daughters: Barb (Bruce) Keil, Sandy (Kelly) O’Dell, Mary Jane (Klayton) Rogge, Valerie (Tom) Barry, Beverly (Mark) Hagen, then grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.

My heart, thoughts, and prayers are with you all at this time. When I think of Mary McCurdy, I remember the MOUTH-WATERING cookies she always baked for our class parties. I was in the same class as Bev and Val. I know Barbara, Sandy, and Mary Jane as well. A truely, wonderful family. May God Bless and comfort all of you at this time.
Margo Hellickson says
My thoughts and prayers on the loss of your mother. Mary and I had many talks about the Rhumba and her love of dancing and even did a few steps together as well as our viisits during her shower time. She is now back with her family that she has missed and is dancing away while eating her chocolate. I enjoyed caring for your mother and our visits about life in general. My sympathy to all of you.

Barb and Sandy. We played together as children and I have never forgotten you two or your mom’s sugar cookies. I have spent many years searching for that remembered taste. You two were wonderful playmates and I have always remember your mom fondly. I am so sorry for your loss. Take Care. Bobbi “Metzenberg” Painter
