In Memory Of

Mary Myers, age 82, of Colstrip

October 31, 1936 – March 16, 2019

Mary Collier Myers was born October 31st, 1936 in Dickinson North Dakota. She was raised in Glendive Montana before moving to Billings. It was in Billings that she met and married Chuck Myers at St. Patrick’s Cathedral. Through this union came three sons, Michael, Shawn and Joseph. Being their mom was the joy of her life, and she was tremendously proud of the men they became. In February of 1977 Mary and her family moved to Colstrip, where she worked at the grocery store, and was a member of St. Margaret Mary’s Catholic church. Colstrip was a place she would call home for the next forty-two years until the time of her passing. Mary will be remembered for her quick wit, feisty spirit, dangly earrings and as a dedicated grandmother, mother, and loyal friend. Mary was preceded in death by her parents Ray and Doloris, brother Phil, sister Leona and husband Chuck. Her legacy lives on in her children Laurie Vasquez of Topeka, KS, Michael (Jill) Myers of Colstrip, Shawn Myers of Colstrip, Joseph (Ashley) Myers of Helena; her sister Donna Collier of Stevensville; nephew, Ken (Sandy) Collier of Shepherd; grandchildren Ben, Laurin (Cortney), Adam and Ryleigh, and great grandchildren Isla and Taya. May the road rise up to meet you Mama Mary! We’ll meet you at the big house.
