Maureen L. Laramore, age 61, of Gillette, Wyoming passed away on Thursday September 4th, 2003 at the Campbell County Memorial Hospital in Gillette, Wyoming following complications with Diabetes.
Funeral services for Maureen Ludell Laramore, age 61 of Gillette, Wyoming will be held on Wednesday, September 10th at 10:00 A.M. at the Stevenson-Wilson Funeral Home Chapel in Gillette, Wyoming. Interment will follow at Mount Pisgah Cemetery in Gillette, Wyoming. Visitation will be 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Tuesday, September 9th, 2003 at Stevenson-Wilson Funeral Home in Gillette, Wyoming.
Maureen Ludell Laramore was born the daughter of William and Margaret (Valenzuella) Chance July 5th, 1942 in Tucson, Arizona. After Mrs. Laramore graduated high school in Tucson Arizona, where he was raised and educated, she worked in the Levy department store, and became manager of the bedding department for a couple years. Maureen married Gary Ray Laramore on September 25th, 1966 in Lordsburg, New Mexico, then had a son, Gary R. Laramore Jr. on December 12th, 1967, and on July 19th 1969 had another son, Stephen Laramore. She devoted her life to her family by staying at home and raising her children.
She was very artistic, and had a creative imagination. Maureen enjoyed painting, cake decorating, dancing, historical events, and reading. Mrs. Laramore survived by her husband Gary Laramore of Gillette, Wyoming, her two sons Gary Laramore Jr. and wife Renee of Los Angeles, and Stephen Laramore and wife Christine of Gillette, Wyoming, one sister Mildred Dotsy Hopkins and husband Richard of Gillette, Wyoming.
Maureen was preceded in death by her parents and her brother William P. Chance Jr.
