Dear Maxine,
You will be missed. What a sweet person you always were. When we worked together at Rasco-Tempo you were in the fabric & yarn department and later helped me learn how to knit those big sweaters with the pictures of animals knitted into the backs. Rest in peace sweet lady.

I remember some nice visits with Maxine when she had her little store in the back of her house, a very very nice person, lovely and talented when it came to kniting and crocheting
she will be missed, and I am glad I got to see her not long ago, to renew our friendship. one thing she is free from pain and that truly is a peace. we will continue to think of her often for sure. There is a sure hope ahead. our sympathy to the family. the Molines

Jim:
Sorry to hear of Maxine’s passing. You both were great friends to my parents for such a long time, and although we have been separated by many years and miles, I still think of those times often and when I do it always brings a smile to my face. Sharon and I still hang up those Christmas stockings each year that Maxine made for us for our first Christmas together.

Jim:
I was so sad to hear about Missie. I missed you guys after our parents passed away, and we didn’t get to see you as often. I still remember all the kindness you and Missie showed to us and the help you extended to us. I still have my Christmas stocking and the “square dance” sweaters Missie made for Mom and Dad. Thanks for the great memories.

Jim,
I am so sorry for your loss. I remember the fun I used to get when my grandma and I would cross the street and visit at the Knit Knax; there was always something there for me to do. I remember when you all square danced and the fancy skirts that Missie would make. You and Missie were very good neighbors and have been missed since you left the neighborhood. May you have some peace in knowing that Missie will never have another headache and will now be perfect. I will pray that you have strength to cope with this loss.
I have a hole in my heart today,
Xina
Maryallyn and Marge Ek says
Sorry to hear of your loss. Although with age, some of the many memories have faded, I do remember in the “old days” visiting Maxine every time I came to Miles City to visit Mom, Marge Ek. Through the years, Mom has continued to flll me in on what was happening in Maxine’s life. I’m glad to have known her and comforted in knowing that she is at peace.

Jim, Robie and family, It was sad to hear of Maxine’s passing. Mom was a neighbor for many years and after we sold her house we didn’t keep in touch as much. Jerett, as I am sure many others, puts his stocking, that Maxine made him, up every Christmas. Rest in peace.
