Funeral Service: Monday, March 19, 2007 at 10 a.m. at the James Black Dog Center in Fort Kipp.

McGeorge DeMarrias, Sr, 70, was born on March 30, 1936 at home in Ft. Kipp, MT and died on March 12, 2007 at the Billings Clinic, due to complications from surgery.
From a very early age, Dad was instilled with a very hard work ethic, working many hard days as a young man while still attending high school in Brockton, MT. While still in high school, the Korean conflict broke out and Dad, along with many other young men in the Brockton/Ft Kipp area, joined the Army. Dad was only 16 years old, and his uncle signed papers so he could join. Dad completed basic training and attended jump school while stationed in Fort Ord, CA. Dad fought in the Korea until he received an injury to his foot from shrapnel. Dad was sent home and honorably discharged from the service.
Dad went back to high school and graduated from Brockton. After high school graduation, Dad went back into the service, this time entering the Navy. He joined the Navy with his cousin and childhood friend, Ray Bets His Medicine. After being discharged from the Navy, Dad came home and worked at various jobs. He also participated in rodeos; his favorite event was saddle bronc. Dad married his first wife, Imajean, and had one son in Warm Springs, OR. Both preceded Dad in death.In 1958, Dad met Rita Youngman and married her on March 30, 1958. To this union five children were born. They were divorced and Dad moved to Los Angeles CA.In 1968, Dad met Patricia Gray. They were married on July 28, 1972 in Chinook, MT. From this union, they had two daughters. They stayed married until Dads death, almost 39 years.Dad was a loyal Brockton Warriors fan. He could be seen on the sidelines of every game.
Dad was preceded in death by his father, Matt DeMarrias, mother, Jesse Macy Small, Brothers- Martin David, Wayne DeMarrias and Keifer Foote, Sisters-Mildred DeMarrias, Deloris Abraham, Helda DeMarrias, Barbara Lee, and Virginia Margaret Adams, and Daughter, Laura Ledesma Foote Dad is survived his wife, Patricia DeMarrias, Brothers Casper (Linda) DeMarrias of Spirit Lake, ND, Abraham (Carol) DeMarrias of Ft Kipp, MT, Victor (Barb) Perry of Poplar, MT; sisters Ethelene White Hawk of Brockton, MT and Priscilla Carpentier of Ft Kipp. Sons Peter Red Tomahawk, with three children, of McLaughlin, SD, Frank D, eleven children (six with Reba) of Poplar, MT, George Jr, Bro James, with three children, Poplar, MT, Albert (Nancy) Foote, Bellingham WA, Daughters Georgia (Loren) Yellow Hawk, with four children, of Poplar, MT, Denise (DJ) DeMarrias, four children, of Denver, CO, Imogene (Perry) Lilley, one child, of Wolf Point, MT, Tawni DeMarrias of Ft Kipp, MT, and Cheyenne Foote, of Poplar, MT. Special Nephew Sam Boyd, Niece Margie Boyd both of Brockton, MT, Sister Carol Small DeMarrias of Ft Kipp, MT, and brothers Mike Greeley, of Watertown SD, and Adrian Ireland of Williston, ND.
