Mellody Katherine Krenik passed away in the early morning hours of April 27th 2017. Mellody went to be with her husband of over 40 years, Ray Krenik Sr., and her daughter, Holly, who preceded her in death. Mellody had a wonderful spirit and a kind heart. She was fiercely loyal to her family and close friends. She loved spending time with her children: Wendy (Russ) Hunter, Holly Krenik, and Ray (Terri) Krenik Jr.; her grandchildren: Brandy (Tommy) Charette, Desiree (Steve) Davelkoul, Misty (Theodore) Krenik, Tanaya Krenik, Dawson Buckalew, Bryce Krenik, Garrett Buckalew, and Evan Buckalew; and her great grandchildren: Tommee Dawn Charette, Bentley Colungo, and Arianna Colungo. Mellody was a practical joker with a great sense of humor! She loved tipping so she always carried a wad of one’s to give to anyone that might show her the slightest in good customer service. She was the kind of person that seemed to know everyone and was a friend to them all! Mellody left a lasting impact on those close to her that will be felt for generations to come! One of her favorite things to say when ending a conversation on the phone was “I hug you in my heart”! We will forever be hugging you in our hearts!

My heart is breaking. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. The last several times Mel and I had such wonderful visits. I loved talking and visiting with her and how we laughed! Of course we cried too reminiscing about “our guys” and how we’ve missed them. Mel,today you have been united with Ray, Holly, your sister and your other friends and family that would have greeted you at Heaven’s gate. Please give “my guy” a hug and kiss for me. I will miss you so dear friend and will forever feel blessed with your love and friendship.

Auntie, I just wanted to thank you for being my Aunt. I had so many good times with you and Uncle Ray. I love you to pieces and will cherish all the memories that we had together. I will miss your smile, encouragement, love, laughter, our summer straw hats (our ghetto hats), our long talks and most of all I will miss you. I was so privileged to call you my Aunt. I know you are at peace now and back with Uncle Ray, loving up on Holly. Tell Dad hi and give him a hug and kiss for me and tell my daughter Joy that her mom says hello and I love and miss her. Give her a kiss and hug for me and love up on her like you loved up on me here on earth. Enjoy life now and no more tears cause you are being taken care of by the Lord now. Until we meet again, I love you and will miss you so every much. Love BJ

I’m so sorry for our loss Mel was a Mom ,grandmother ,a caretaker,a friend to anyone who crossed her path ! She loved to visit and found happiness in joy in her family even in the sad times she could cry as she share her sadness but in a minutes time she would tell how lucky she was to have such great people in her life ! She worked hard and tried everyday to please the people in her circle of life . May she have peace and happiness in her new life and may we all cherish the Happiness she brought to all of her family and friends! There was never a stranger she’d come upon she’d sit in visit with someone in the beauty shop for a hour or so then when they left she ask me so who was that lovely person ! I would thought they were friends for ever as they visited , Our Dear friend we will all miss you , and will Cherish the love and kindness you shared with all! May you all find memories that bring happiness in fun times you share with Mel ! And be thankful for all the heart s she has touched take care my Dear Friend

We first met Ray and Mel when our daughter and her granddaughter became friends so long ago. We were so fascinated by Melslove for her children and grand children. She was so full of life and love. Cal and I have never been around someone so positive and good hearted. She was always so talkive and engaging, her stories were always so animated and funny. Brandy you have this gift of Mels. Desi you have received the gift of encouraging others and Misti you have her awesome flamboyant style. We were all visiting about our wonderful memories and the one that made us laugh the most was when Mel would get the girls all piled into the car at 3 am on Black Fridays and drive to Billings to get those great deals and holler ” DaWonda” from the movie “fried green Tomatoes” love you Mel we are glad you are with your loved ones on the other side but know the ones you leave behind will miss you greatly.
