In Memory Of

Melva Bogar

Visitation: Friday, February 16 at Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel in Wolf Point from 1 p.m. until 6 p.m.

Funeral Service: Saturday, February 17 at Gospel Fellowship Church at 10 a.m.

Interment: Vida Cemetery

Melva Paulette (Myhre) Bogar, 56, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 14, 2007, at Trinity Hospital in Wolf Point, Montana, after a valiant fight with cancer.

Melva was born on April 5, 1950, to Wally and Arlene (Ostrom) Myhre in Minot, North Dakota. She attended high school in Circle, Montana, and later received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Education from Eastern Montana College in Billings, Montana. She also attended Side by Side at Denver Seminary. Melva was married to Bruce Bogar on September 6, 1969 in Circle. The Lord blessed their union with one daughter, two sons, and five grandchildren. Melva dearly loved the Lord, and thoroughly enjoyed being involved with every aspect of the church. She participated in the worship team, womens fellowship group, and was a talented piano player. Melva was a true helpmate as a Pastors wife, and a dedicated follower of Jesus. She thoroughly enjoyed spending time with her familyespecially her grandkids. She liked family get-to-gethers, and often planned family reunions. Melva also enjoyed music and doing crafts. She was employed with Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel for over 5 years as secretary.

Melva Bogar is survived by her husband, Bruce of Vida; mother, Arlene Legare of Glendive, Montana; daughter, Colette (Todd) Christensen of Buford, Wyoming; two sons, Brent (Kris) Bogar of Williston, North Dakota, and Blain Bogar of Billings, Montana; a sister Peggy (Mike) Iba of Glendive, Montana; a brother, Clayton Myhre of McKinney, Texas; and five grandchildren, Thomas, Amanda, Malea, Thaddaeus, and Jackson. She is also survived by her brothers and sisters-in-law as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Melva was preceded in death by her father, Wally Myhre.

Melva was a very special lady whose life touched many. Her sweet spirit and loving personality will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her.

Visitation will be held on Friday, February 16, at Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 17, at 10 a.m. at Gospel Fellowship Church in Wolf Point. A lunch will follow at First Lutheran Church in Wolf Point. A private family burial will be held at Vida Cemetery in Vida, Montana.
