To us, his friends and classmates, he was our Guardian Angel. He was our hero and best Friend. It has been 15 years since I had been in contact. Something I will now always regret. Every single one of us had our own connection with Mervin. This is very heartbreaking news. We don’t get to meet men like him but once in a life time.
