Michael David Kirn, 45, died October 9,2003 as the results of an airplane accident. He was born September 23, 1958 to the late Robert (Bob) H Kirn and Audrey (Blue) Buckles Kirn in Poplar MT.
From a very young age Mike enjoyed farming. He spent his whole life on the farm/ranch just north of Poplar farming with his mom and dad and later with his close cousins Gooch and Chad. Mike attended all 12 grades in the Poplar School graduating in 1976.
Mike enjoyed fishing, golfing flying and traveling but most of all spending time with his niece and nephews and visiting with everyone. He always has a grin and something to say to everyone he came in contact with.
Mike will be greatly missed by his loving wife and best friend, Shirley Hickok, his mother, Audrey (Blue) Kirn, and Gary Braine all of Poplar, MT; Special mom Betty Hickok of Wolf Point MT, four sisters: Joleen Kirn of Poplar, MT, Brenda (Rory) Huff of Payson, AZ, Susie (Steve) Schagunn of Scobey, MT and Darlyn Grainger of Poplar MT; two grandmothers Audrey Buckles of Poplar MT and Nellie Kirn of Sidney, MT; an uncle Rob (Kathy) Buckles; three aunts: Sue (Ken) Kainz, Donna (Warren) Whitmer, Karen (Dave) Ruffatto; a niece Haylee Jo Huff and nephews; Brandon Schagunn, Kyle Schagunn, Ryan Schagunn, Miles Huff, David and Douglas Rakstad and all his relatives and many friends.
