Mike was born prematurely and was very small for his age until high school. He was incredibly smart and always charmed people with his precocious personality. He always “marched to the beat of his own drum” and did things in his own way. He was an artist in his own right and was prolific in sketching, oil painting and later tattoos. He loved to give me a hard time and prank me. On my 6th birthday, I invited him to my party because I wanted all of my friends to meet my cool uncle. He gave me a box to unwrap in front of all of my friends. I was so excited! But when I opened it, I was mortified. It was a farting teddy bear called Teddy Le Fart. He thought that he was hilarious – I wanted to crawl in a hole and die. He was fun and loving and tough.

OMG this is so hard to believe… I moved back to Miles City in 2006 and my son became very close friends with preacher Mike and Merly and the kids preacher Mike and Merly welcomed my son and I into their family with open arms it was hard to take when Merly passed and now preacher Mike so hard FLY HIGH ON THE WINGS OF AN ANGEL RIP.
