Michaela Jo Martell, age 22, of Miles City passed away on Tuesday, August 27, 2019 at a result of a car accident.
Michaela was born on January 23, 1997 in Wolf Point, Montana, the Daughter of James Joe and Chrisandra (Jackson) Martell. She went to school at Southside School in Wolf Point before the family moved to Billings, Montana to be close to family. Michaela’s passion was to be a mother and have children of her own. Her first child was Lance Adams and her second, Lyric Adams. Michaela moved to Billings and had two more boys, Legend Swank and Logan Martell.
Michaela Jo enjoyed being with family and friends. Michaela Jo loved listening to R&B music and Hip Hop and loved to make us laugh cause she was a dingbat like her maternal grandmother Emily Blue Horse Jackson Flynn and auntie Ratchet.
Michaela is survived by her parents James Jo Martell and Chrisandra (Jackson) Martell; siblings: Candace (Martell) Azure, Darcie (Martell) Haywane, Jo Streitz, Derek Streitz, James Martell, John Martell, Mike Martell, Preston Jackson, Zachary Jackson, Destiny Burshia, Kiley Jackson Martell, Jeremy Martell, Winter Martell, Tiffany Grant shared special place in her heart for cousin Jeremiah Lorge and nephew Ashton Ibison; aunties: Rochelle Jackson, Terry Jackson, Beverly (Jackson) Lamb, Lanette Clark, Sidney (Scooter) Campbell, Silvia (Skeeter) Campbell, Lana Zigan, Margetta Martell, Sharon Hawk, Connie Black Eagle, Sandra Lockwood; uncles: DW Jackson, Keven Jackson, Donald Martell, Daniel Martell Jr., William Martell, Dennis Martell; cousins: Shawn Jackson, Brandon Buckles, Reyne Jackson, Laura Lorge, Madison Lorge, Jeremiah Lorge, Natasha Serawop, Rhiana Christianson, Victoria Clark, Joshua Zigan, Amanda Zigan, Samanth Zigan, Adam Zigan, Punkie Fast Horse, Danielle Fast Horse, Dawn Fast Horse, Dion Fast Horse, Dick Fast Horse, Billy Hawk, Darla Hawk, Denise Hawk, Debbie Hawk, Misty Baker, Frank Baker, Jesse Baker, Kristy Baker, Uriah Lockwood, Ace Lockwood, Shosana Lockwood, Hannah Lockwood, Jasmine Hall, Jay Lambert, Erika Lockwood. She was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Emily Eunice Blue Horse Jackson, Darrell Woodrow Jackson and Paternal Grandparents Daniel Martell and Mary Calvin, uncles: Howard Clark, Holt Jackson, Cody Jackson, David Martell and her aunt Patricia (Martell) Silk.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 30, 2019 at Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home with family receiving friends from 4:00-6:00 p.m. A Celebration of Life Four Day Feast will be held on Saturday, August 31, 2019 from 1:00-5:00 p.m. at the Sleep Inn & Suites, 1006 S. Haynes Ave., Miles City, MT.
