Micheal David McCallum, age 68 of Miles City, MT passed away on June 30, 2025, at the Holy Rosary Hospital in Miles City.
Mike was born in Missoula, MT on May 16, 1957. Mike and his family moved to Stevensville, MT in his childhood. He graduated from Stevensvill High school as the Salutatorian. He earned a scholarship to MIT in Arizona and attended for one year. He worked as a butcher at Daly’s and as a counselor at Opportunity Workshop in Missoula. Mike grew a great garden and beautiful flowers. He lived in Nashville, TN for 15 years before relocating to Miles City in 2017. He is preceded in death by his parents Newton and Phyllis McCallum. He is survived by his brothers Bruce McCallum of Dillon and Kevin (Anine) of Miles City and a nephew Garret.

I got to know Mike when I worked for Council on Aging and he came to my office. He was always a friendly dude and pleasant to visit with. I’m sorry to hear he passed away. Prayers and love to his family.

I was a conservatory for David some years ago. I learned to know him when I was at the Corbin Law Office. He became friends and he spent many holiday dinners at my home.
