Miko Jay Brady, 30, of Lame Deer, made his way to the other side in the early hours on August 6, 2022.
Miko was born March 4, 1992, in Crow Agency, MT, to Rochelle Roundstone and Merlin Jay Brady. He grew up on the West Side of Lame Deer. He proudly referred to himself as “The King of West Side”. As a young child, he attended Lame Deer School, graduating from the 8th grade. Although he did not go on to high school, he helped raise his siblings Laprincia & D’Angelo. He also adored being an uncle to his nieces Laraya & Rosalynn Gardner and Macie Blackbird.
Miko liked to fish, hunt, and play video games, listen to music, and cruise the backroads and make videos. He would often call his dad in Seattle and tell him to watch his videos. Miko was a momma’s boy. He and his mother were often seen together around town or attending pow-wows. Even if they had no ride, they would walk. Miko was a natural horseback rider, never afraid to break a horse. He enjoyed being around family and friends. He always made an effort to see his Auntie Brenda, even though he knew he would get an “ear chewing and an ass beating”, as he would say. He never failed to check in with her. He would often call her at work or drop by and say Hi.
Miko had a contagious laugh and smile, he liked to joke and tease everybody. He always had to have the last word.
Thank you to all the Westside people that helped Miko with maybe a cigarette or a ride or just hanging out with him.
