Funeral Service: Saturday, May 30, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at the Lighthouse Christian Center Assembly of God Church in Miles City.

Interment: Later date in the family plot of the Custer County Cemetery

Mildred Millie Sgrignoli, age 66, of Miles City passed away on Monday, May 25, 2009 at the Holy Rosary Health Center in Miles City after a courageous 5 year battle with cancer.

Millie was born on March 12, 1943 in Tillamook, Oregon, the daughter of Noel R. and Viola (Simon) Davidson. She attended school in Havre, Montana. Millie married John Sgrignoli on December 17, 1960 in Havre, Montana. Upon Johns discharge from the Air Force, they lived in Williamsgrove, PA and Brandtsville, PA and in September of 1972, they moved to Miles City, MT. While in Miles City, Millie worked at various jobs including D&L Meats, Star Printing, for Dr. Rowan, and as a teachers aide at Garfield School for fifteen years.

Millie loved playing any games and cards. She enjoyed her Monday pinochle club, playing bunko, gardening, knitting/crocheting, fishing and shopping. She especially loved Christmas and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Millie is survived by her husband, John Sgrignoli of Miles City, MT; three children: Terry D. (Julie) Sgrignoli of Miles City, MT; Kevin J. (Janelle) Sgrignoli of Everett, WA; and Darci Lyn Sgrignoli of Ennis, MT; two grandchildren: Nathan and Caleb Sgrignoli; her parents, Noel and Viola Davidson of Havre, MT; two brothers: Noel Q. (Pam) Davidson of Big Sandy, MT and Joe (Beth) Davidson of Havre, MT; a sister, Marie Schoenfeldt of Spokane, WA and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her mother-in-law, Nancy Rehm.

Visitation will be held on Friday, May 29, 2009 at Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home in Miles City with family receiving friends from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 30, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at the Lighthouse Christian Center Assembly of God Church in Miles City. Interment will be held at a later date in the family plot of the Custer County Cemetery. Condolences may be made to the family by visiting: www.stevensonandsons.com. Should friends desire, memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.
