Wade and all of Millard’s family. I am saddened to hear of MIllard’s passing. He was a very special man. I worked with him at the Sheriff’s Office and could tell many stories about those times. I learned alot about life from him and was very proud to call him my friend. Our community lost one of its very best with his passing. I am sure he is setting a big trapline in heaven and shining down on his kids and grandkids who he was so very proud of. Deepest sympathy, Vic and Laura Lee

I think of Millard often and the many things I learned from him, for example that spiders don’t like cedar. His wisdom will live on in the many people he shared it with. God Bless.

Hopefully the paperwork is no more. He would always pass the office and complain about too much paperwork. I will never forget Millard. My thoughts are with your family.
Carmen Knutson says
Another treasure lost–I got to know Millard when I worked at the Manor. He loved the homemade soups I made. He had THE most wonderful smile and was a very special man. I’m blessed to have known him. Hugs and prayers to his family.

What a shock to have Millard leave just 10 days after Penny. It might be that he joined her because they were so close in life. My memory kinda resonates like this (not original with me):
“It takes many years to make one great; yet one can be ruined in a single hour.
It doesn’t take much to make a shambles of life but it takes a lifetime to build a tower.”
I think of Millard regarding the sentiment above. Take care. JoAn
