Monte Dean Brown

Visitation: The family will receive friends for visitation on Friday, March 26, 2004 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm in the chapel of Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home in Miles City

Memorial Mass: Monday, March 29, 2004 at 10:00 a.m. at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Miles City

Monte Dean Brown, age 42, of Miles City passed away on Saturday, March 20, 2004, at his home in Miles City surrounded by family, after a short battle with cancer.

Monte was born on December 30, 1961 in Crosby, North Dakota to Murvin and Maryann (Voigt) Brown. He attended grade school and high school in Miles City while working with his father for Brown & Sons Concrete. Monte and Ronda were married September 5, 1982. Monte then went to work for Eckart Construction until 1986, when he went to work for Portable Pavers. He later started working for Prince Construction where he was working until the time of his death.

Monte was an outdoorsman who loved to fish and hunt. He enjoyed cutting firewood and being with his family and friends.

Monte is survived by his parents, Murvin and Maryann Brown of Miles City, his wife Ronda, three sons; Dustin his fianc Denise, Sidney and Quinn Brown all of Miles City, four brothers; Merlin and Debbie Brown of Miles City, Maldon and Sheila Brown of Cheyenne, WY, Murray and Tana Brown of Miles City and Mitchell and Terri Brown of San Diego, CA.

Monte was preceded in death by his brother Michael Brown.

The family will receive friends for visitation on Friday, March 26, 2004 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm in the chapel of Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home in Miles City. A Memorial Mass will be held on Monday, March 29, 2004 at 10:00 a.m. at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Miles City. Condolences may be sent to the family by visiting www.stevensonandsons.com.
