Graveside Service: Thursday, July 30, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at the Valley View Cemetery in Broadus.

Myrna Callahan, age 75, of Miles City passed away on Monday, July 27, 2009 at the Holy Rosary Extended Care in Miles City.

Myrna was born in Wenatchee, Washington on May 1, 1934, the daughter of Charles and Mary Ellen (Malley) Skeel. She grew up and attended school in Tacoma, Washington and graduated from high school in Broadus, Montana. She married Allen Carter and later married Melvin Callahan at Pierre, South Dakota on March 20, 1970. They moved to Glen Rock, Wyoming where they made their home until 2004 when they moved to Miles City where they have made their home since.

Myrna is survived by her husband Melvin Callahan of Miles City, MT; two sons: Melvin (Christine) Callahan Jr. of Lodi, CA; and Rodney Carter of Lodi, CA; two daughters: Wanda (Corby) Wilson of Grand Rapids, MN; and Toni Hayworth of Miles City, MT; a brother, Bill Skeel of Butte, MT; ten grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Randy Carter in 1970; a brother Alfred Skeel, and a sister Wanda Skeel
