In Memory Of

Myron Tallbull, age 74, of Lame Deer

December 27, 1949 – October 22, 2024

In early October, Myron Tallbull made his journey through the milky way to the next camp.

On December 27, 1949, Myron was born to Susan Littlewolf and Joseph Tallbull, Sr. Myron was the second youngest of 6 siblings, 3 sisters, Dorothy, Irma and Wretha. and 3 brothers, Floyd, Myles and Joseph Jr. He was raised by his grandfather, Albert Tallbull in Lame Deer, Montana. He attended school at St. Labre and later attended college at Chief Dull Knife as well as Miles City Community College. Myron was a fluent speaking Cheyenne who spoke his language as much as possible. He loved hiking and exploring the Northern Cheyenne Reservation and countryside. As well as researching and being an avid reader, he never tired of reading material or knowledge. He had his own library and collection of books.

Throughout his years he would just up and leave out of the blue for a walkabout and end up in downtown Chicago or California without telling anyone. He had many great stories about the adventures he would take, the places he would see and people he would meet. He made good friends out of strangers during his hitchhiking and his adventures. Ken and Andy were just some of the ones who became lifelong friends.

Myron was a private person who enjoyed a solitary life. Therefore, it was a blessing to get a visit and call from him, or even just to see him out on his E-bike or 10 speed motorbike.

Myron was preceded in death by his grandfather Albert Tallbull, Parents Joe Tallbull Sr and Susan Littlewolf. Brothers Myles and Joe Jr Tallbull, Sister Wretha Tallbull. Best friend Ken. Nephew Dakota Tallbull, Bobby Weaselbear, Daniel Oldbull JR. Nieces Charlotte Price- Stangle and Delphina Homewood

Myron is survived by Brother Floyd Tallbull, Sisters Dorothy Little Whirlwind, Irma Bearchum. Nephews Blane, Ambrose, Alvin, Anthony, Joseph, Isaac Little Whirlwind, Calvin Whitewolf, Lucky Homewood, Wallace Bearchum, Seneca Tallbull, Myles Jr, Brian and Lenray Tallbull, Jonathan ThreeFingers and LynRoss Whitehawk. Nieces Jolene Arellano, Martha Sue Littlewhirlwind, Cleo Ann Littlewhirlwind, Medora Burgess, Anita and Cheryl Bearchum, Jolene Ursula Krohn-Marshall.
