I met Myrtle while working as Activity Director at Nemont Manor. Myrtle participated in many of my daily activities. She was always upbeat, had a great sense of humor, her eyes sparkled with laughter, a warmness about her that showed her caring personality. She loved her family and would visit about them.
She will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved her.
In heartfelt sympathy, may God and his son Jesus be with you as you mourn her death.

I was sadden at the passing of Myrtle A Davenport. Death casts a shadow over you as you go about your daily life. Your love one´s death brings you face-to-face with the fact that she is gone too soon. While you call to mind the happy memories, you may also remember the enormity of the loss. But, “Do not let your hearts be troubled”. (John 14:27) May you find comfort as the “the last enemy”, death will be done away with. (1 Corinthians 15:25, 26). Let this time be a tribute to her wonderful life.
Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal. ~Author Unknown~

I was surprised to hear of Myrtle’s passing, as I had such a nice visit with her about a week before. I had just interviewed her for our ” Getting To Know You” column in the Independent Press paper. May God Bless You!
