Myrva LaVonne Parker, age 76, of Miles City passed away on December 24, 2003 at her home.
Myrva was born in Redfield, SD on May 1, 1927 the daughter of Albert and Florence (Richards) McCone. At a young age, she and her family moved to Manilla, IA where she attended school graduating from high school in 1945. Myrva got involved in motel, restaurant, and cocktail lounge management. She moved to Rapid City in 1947 where she was a bar manager. In 1971, she and her daughter Tanya moved to Miles City where she went to work for Parkers Bar. Myrva also worked at the Olive and the Camelot.
Myrva was an active member of the RSVP and she volunteered at the Holy Rosary Hospital for many years. She enjoyed crossword puzzles and was an avid sports fan. She loved to listen to the games on the radio.
Myrva is survived by her daughter Tanya Leidholt and her husband Greg of Miles City, her granddaughter, the apple of her eye, BreAnn Leidholt of Miles City, three sisters: Marvel Stoebe and her husband Dale of St. Cloud, MN, Jackie Forgy and her husband Ron of Winterset, IA, and Janell Elkin and her husband Morris of Chippewa Falls, WI, and special family Alan Parker of Miles City, Chauncie Kucera of Phoenix, AZ, Charlotte Sloan of Miles City, Janet and Bob Dedmon of Phoenix, AZ, Cindy Parker of Hines, OR, and Brent Parker of Phoenix, AZ, and seven grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
