In Memory Of

Nancy Olson, age 63, of Miles City

October 14, 1958 – March 6, 2022

Nancy Lynn Olson, 63, of Miles City, MT, journeyed on to be with her hunka hunka burnin love Elvis in their heavenly Graceland on March 6th, 2022. She was always his biggest fan and we are all sure she is happy to join him.

She was born in Freeman, South Dakota on October 14, 1958 to Lester Dean Olson and Edna Olson. She was the oldest of five children. They moved to Ashland, MT in 1959 and this is where she attended school and graduated from St. Labre.

Nancy was married in 1987, she had four children Alicia, Ricky, Chrissy, and Leonard. Nancy loved being a mother and family was everything to her. She always remembered birthdays and anniversaries. She loved doing arts, crafts, crochet and collecting knick knacks.

Nancy was a loving and caring person. Always willing to do anything and everything for her family. She will be remembered by many and greatly missed by her family.

Nancy is preceded in death by her mother Edna Olson and her father Lester Dean Olson, and her brother-in-law Bill Tallerdy.

Nancy is survived by her siblings Kevin Olson, Cindy Tallerdy, Jamie (Kim) Olson, and Terry (Tammy) Olson. Nancy is also survived by her children Alicia Hutchinson, Ricky Rice, Chrissy Rice (Jason Bold), Leonard (Misti) Rice, Her Grandchildren Kayden Burnisky, Chantel Burnisky, and Dominic Rice. Nieces Tracie Olson, Cory Olson (Nick Busby), Erica (Brian) Staffacher, Krista Grove, and Cassie (Kayla) Olson. Nephews Justin Tallerdy (Jennifer Cox), Logan (Chelsey) Olson, and Nick (Helena) Olson. She is also survived by her longtime friend and roommate Becky Davis.

A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m on Friday, March 18, 2022 at Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home in Miles City. A potluck will follow after the services — directions will be provided at the conclusion of the Funeral Service.

So sorry to hear this. Nancy was amazing and so caring. My favorite memory was when her son Ricky and I plus a few other friends were driving back to their house and we hit a deer. Nancy drove my friend back to Miles City and made me go with. Sending prayers to all her family and friends. May god be with all of you and know Nancy will be watching over you.

I’ve never formally met Nancy. She is my mother in laws sister, my wife’s Aunt. I have spoke to Nancy only a couple of times on the phone, but have had numerous conversations with her on Facebook. Every time I spoke to her really reminded me of my wife, her voice and mannerism’s were that of her sister Cindy…… My heart breaks for the family, and I am absolutely positive, that a great woman, mentor, and kind soul left us so unexpectedly. Ma’am you will be missed, but never forgotten!!!!!! FLY HIGH!!!!!!! We shall all see you again one day……..❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Mom I miss you so much already I love you. You was the most amazing woman I’ve ever met I know we didn’t always see eye to eye just cause I was stubborn as could be you taught me so much how to stand on my own and no matter what no matter how time I fall get knocked down beat down to the point of giving up u always told me to get back up domt ever let anyone or anything keep me down, Mom its the only reason I’m still here today I seriously don’t know what I’m going to do without you here.. we might not have been in the same town and might now have been able to see each other but you was always there for me. Going to miss having to bug you to remember how to make your meatloaf or your banana bread god mom I’m sorry I’m going to miss you so much. I Love You Momma
