Natalie Rose Alexander (Naddie Roses), age 2, of Poplar, Montana went home to be with her heavenly father on Saturday, October 20, 2007, at Trinity Hospital in Minot, North Dakota as the result of a tragic accident. Natalie was born on February 1, 2005, along with her twin sister, Courtney Taylor, daughter of James and Alana Alexander in Glasgow, Montana. Natalie loved going to church and was the youngest in childrens church at the Assembly of God in Poplar, Montana. She was her familys little princess. She loved dresses, high heels and finger nail polish, but balloons, singing and twirling were her favorite. Her favorite movies were Cinderella and Little Mermaid. She was very courteous and always said thank you, excuse me, and welcome.
She did everything with her twin, Courtney Taylor. They painted each others nails. They danced at Pow Wows, Natalie as Fancy Shawl and Courtney as Jingle. They liked to clean everything except vacuum. While at Auntie Nancys they loved to ride the 4-wheeler, jump rope, and jump on the trampoline with Sissy. They loved going to the playground and go down the slides. They loved to play tag, ring around the rosie, cheerleading and karate. Their favorite song to perform was Glamorous by Fergie. This year for Halloween she was going as Super Girl, Courtney as Bat Girl, their baby sister, Ryan, as Wonder Woman, and her brother, Bayzel, as Superman.
Natalie is preceded in death by her Great Grandparents James and Agnes (Scott) Melbourne, Grandpa Orin Alexander, and cousin, Ryan Russell Alexander.
Natalie is survived by her parents, James and Alana Alexander; her twin sister Courtney Taylor and sister Ryan Leigh Alexander, and her brothers Bayzel and Alec Alexander, all of Poplar; Grandparents, Mary Rose Melbourne and Clarence (Mary Ann)Spotted Wolf, all of Poplar, Suzanne (Courtney) Smith of Lewiston, Idaho; Great-Grandparents, Harry and Myrna Gruefe, and John and Vera Ironman, all of Poplar; Uncles, Orin (Kristina) Alexander of Poplar, Ryan Alexander of Lewiston, George (Linda) Spotted Wolf and Tylynn Spotted Wolf of Poplar; Aunties, Nancy Steele of Brockton, Sophie Spotted Wolf of Poplar and Rose Alexander of Lewiston; Cousins, Bronson Steele, Jordan and Kendra Spotted Wolf, Chelsea and Tina Belle Alexander, Cameron Azure, Emmalynn Kohl, Shontel Shaw, Isaiah Alexander, Sissy (Erin) Ricker, Noah Pino, Tyger Ricker and Gracie Rouse.
A wake will be held from 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 21 until 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 25 at the Poplar Assembly of God Church. Her funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 25 at the Poplar Assembly of God Church with Pastors Roger Hunt and Jay Cummins officiating. Interment will follow at the Poplar Cemetery.
