Neil was a man of great character and an example of strength, caring, and wisdom. Having met and come to know Neil over the past 4 years, my personal life and empathy for others have grown exponentially from his demonstration of how we should treat our brothers and sisters, regardless of our differences.
God be with Judy, Family and Friends as the coming days pass and Neil is greatly missed, and may all “Let the Hope and Love of the Future Make the Present, More Pleasant.”
RIP Neil…you have definitely earned it.
Vince and Dani Vaccaro says
Neil Trout, my best friend, my mentor and the most Christ like man I ever knew, and yet somehow Neil was still one of the goofiest people I ever met too (said with the laughter and joy he abundantly exhibited during his life here on earth , especially during all the mishap adventures we shared with him). My wife Dani and I were blessed to have loved him, and more blessed to have been loved by him.
Death may still have its sting, but it has no eternal power, in our shared faith in Jesus Christ, I know death has been defeated and that we will share eternity in Paradise, even better than our friendship on earth was.
I ask for continued prayers for Judy, who has been Angelic in her ministering to Neil as his disease progressed and to Keenan as well.
And in memory of Neil, I also ask you to go out of your way, thank a Vet for their service, visit with a stranger with joy, offer to help someone without judgement of the person and in sincere caring for them that is what Neil’s life was all about, he had a servant’s heart of the umpteenth degree!!!
