Neva Crawford was born June 29, 1935 at the family farm on Sweeney Creek to her parents J.W. and Georgia McIntosh. She attended school in Rosebud until her junior year when her parents retired and moved to Forsyth, where she graduated high school in 1953. She then attended Northern Montana State College and she earned a degree in Practical Nursing. Neva married Rudy Crawford in 1962 and had three children. She worked in many fields of nursing including home hospice and opened and operated a small nursing home in Columbus MT. She loved sewing, needle work, crafts and her cats. She also enjoyed watching sports, especially her children and grandchildren. They moved several times with the railroad and lived most of the time in Billings, Laurel and Glendive. Once Rudy and she retired they returned to Forsyth where she enjoyed going to the Senior Center, playing cards, games and visiting.
She is preceded in death by her parents J.W. and Georgia McIntosh, her two brothers Arnold and John McIntosh and her four sisters: Willa Dearing, Maymie Penner, Wahnetta Mundt and Bertha Kowis.
Neva is survived by her husband Rudy, her three children: Doreen (Richard Miller) of Billings MT, Duane (Annette Crawford) of Flintville TN, and Douglas Crawford of Omaha NE. Her four grandchildren: Jodi Miller, Justin Miller, Amanda Stephenson and Jacob Crawford; her 2 great grandchildren, Crawford and Smith Stephenson, and her sister Hazel Bland of Englewood CO. Rudy, I’m so sorry, I’m crying with you. Neva was such a wonderful, caring friend. I feel blessed that she was my friend; even if it was just at the hospital. So many memories of just visiting with both of you. Keep your memories close, she is with you in spirit. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Debbie Anderson.

GINI MCINTOSH says
Uncle Rudy, Doreen, Duane, and Doug, I am so sorry to hear that you lost Toots, She was such a sweetheart and I enjoyed the time I got to spend with you. I am sorry that I don’t find time to visit friends and family like I should. There just isn’t enough hours in the day. I am always in a rush when I go by Forsyth anymore on my way to or from Christi’s in South Dakota. It is a long way from Bozeman and with my vision I can’t drive into the sun so have to time the 10 hr. trip just right to do it in one day. My thoughts and prayers are with you. May God wrap His loving arms around you as you grieve your loss and may good memories replace the pain you feel. Although I could no longer live with Ed, I still care and didn’t divorce the rest of the family. Love, Gini McIntosh
