In loving memory of a beautiful soul, Nevada Rain Little “White Horse Women (Vohpe’hame’e)”; age 31 of Hoquiam, WA (formerly of Lame Deer, MT), passed away peacefully at her home.
Nevada Rain Little was born on April 9, 1994 in Crow Agency, MT. She was the oldest daughter of Stormey Robinson, and the only child to the late Dion K. Little.
Nevada was fortunate to call two places home. The first half of her life was lived in Montana, and the second half in Washington State.
She was beautiful, inside and out, with the biggest heart. She was funny, kind, and always willing to do anything for the people she loved. Her light shined so bright everywhere she went. She was a daughter, sister, mother, granddaughter, niece, cousin, friend, full of love and kindness. She especially loved coming back home to Montana to visit family, most of all her grandparents, Maurice and Huberta. Nevada had a special bond with her father, Dion, who nicknamed her at a young age, “Wet Puppy”.
She always put others before herself and cared deeply for everyone around her. She had so much life in her and her smile could light up any room. You could hear her laughter from far away and it would make you smile instantly. She had a beautiful voice and loved to sing, bead, cook, and spend time with her sisters, fiancé Todd, and her family, but most of all, her daughter Doris. The bond they shared was something truly special, and she was so proud to be her mom.
Nevada is survived by her daughter, Doris Little-Howtopat; mother, Stormey (Wiliam) Robinson; sisters, Brooklyn (Jonah), Asia (Ozzy) Hernandez and Marissa Jenson; fiancé, Todd Clark; in-laws, Jonny (Midge) Clark; step-fathers, Ben Hernandez and Larry Hall;
Grandmother, Robin Burns; grandfather, Maurice Little, Sr.; uncles, Robert “Little Bobby” (God-Father) Robinson, Maurice (Krystal) Little, Lionel Little, Ira Begay, Cody Harris, Cameron Russell, Sr.; Aunts, Heather Harris, SunFlower, Pepper, Damita, Loya, Kelsey and Antionette; niece, Avery Russell; nephews, Kaique, Queliah and Isidro Little; cousins, Ally and London Robinson, Shochana (Colton), Alondra, Da Rell, Abbizah, Joseph, Jr., Kharlin, Berta, Leonard, Joleia and Kitty Little, Shawn (Niamh) Shelley, Stephanie (Monte) Haugen, Tyler, Courtney, Kylee, Macy, Chontay and Heidi Burns; great grandmother, Hansa Faye “Gaga” Burns; great uncles, Robert Burns, Jr.; great aunts, Beverly (God-Mother) Shelley and Cindy Burns.
Nevada was preceded in death by her father, Dion K. Little, grandmother, Huberta Little, uncle, Joseph Little, Sr., cousins, Valerie and Chay Little, great grandfather, Robert Burns, Sr., great uncles, Michael and Jeffery Burns and Steven Shelley and great aunt, April Ann Burns.
Nevada had numerous family and friends. We apologize if we have forgotten anyone, as she was loved by many.

My best memories of Nevada. When she attended HP schools she was in my program. On her second week she was mad at everyone due to bullying. She didn’t want to go home and tell everyone that it was happening, so she decided she was going to live with me. And I could not call her Vada or Nevada, but I could call her Vadie. And she wanted her own room cuz friends needed to come visit. Long story short as soon as she found out she couldn’t have her own room she wanted to just go home and pretend she lived with her other gramma. Lol. Her family knew she was planning on running and had the entire situation handled by the time she got home.
Vadie was top 10 of my forever kids out of 100’s. She wanted to be one of my nieces who called themselves, The Native Mafia. (Lol they were all in elementory). She became one of only 11 native girls in the entire schools. They welcomed her with open arms, stood up for her and made her invincible. Her proudest moment!
Vadie, I will never forget you. Your laughter was contagious and your smile lit up every dark room you stepped into. You are where you will never feel pain again. Watch over your family, they need you. I love you little lady. 4-e-ver.
