Nikki Lee Gilbertson was born on August 18th 1987. She passed on to the next life on December 2nd 2019, she was the light in so many people’s lives.
Nikki graduated from CCDHS and went on to Job Corps in Anaconda MT graduating with a degree in welding and heavy equipment operation. From there she went on to work for Schellinger Construction out of Columbia Falls MT. Her favorite grader operator was Chick who thought of her as his little sister.
Nikki and her dog Dewey were always together hiking in the mountains of Western Montana. Nikki always stood out in a crowd and everyone knew it. She will be deeply missed by all that knew her.
She was preceded in death by her big brother Joshua and her Grandma and Grandpa McCoy. She is survived by her parents, Ronald and Margarett Gilbertson, her sister Elizabeth (Tony) Cain, and her brothers Thomas (Michelle) Gilbertson, Jason (Leslie) Gilbertson, and Chance Gilbertson who she shared a special bond with as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Her ashes will be scattered along with her dog Dewey’s at a later date in the mountains that she loved so much.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 7, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Grace Bible Church in Miles City. Condolences to the family may be sent by visiting www.stevensonandsons.com
