Funeral services for Noah John Novotny will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday, March 7, 2005 at the First Baptist Church in Gillette, Wyoming with Pastor Mark Jervis officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Pisgah Cemetery in Gillette. Stevenson-Wilson Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.
Noah John Novotny, age 2, passed away at the Presbyterian St. Lukes Medical Center in Denver, Colorado from a long term illness.
Noah was born on July 3, 2002 in Gillette, Wyoming to the parents of Justin and Cherish (Havens) Novotny. The family lived in Gillette, Wyoming until he was about a year old when his parents moved to Grand Junction, Colorado to accommodate his health. Noah enjoyed watching Elmo, loved airplanes, playing with his older brother, Dalton, and living life to its fullest. Anyone who knew Noah instantly fell in love with his charming personality and adorable smile. Noahs mom describes him best as having horns that hold up his halo. He could be loving, kissing and hugging one minute and the next pulling your hair and teasing you. He was a true blessing and a gift from God.
Noah is survived by his parents, Justin and Cherish Novotny of Grand Junction, Colorado; brother Dalton Novotny of Grand Junction, Colorado; maternal grandparents, Gary and Deb Wickam of Cheyenne, Wyoming and Randy and Diane Havens of Montrose, Colorado; paternal grandparents, Al and Carol Novotny of Casper, Wyoming; aunts, Faith Havens of Casper, Wyoming and Alisha Havens of Boise, Idaho; uncles, Greg Novotny of Casper, Wyoming and Jarrod Novotny of Duluth, Minnesota; great grandparents, Elmer and Tres Downing and George and Harriet Havens all of Worland, Wyoming , Dorothy Wickam of Cheyenne, Wyoming, Ann Fetchkan of Portage, Pennsylvania, Dale and Louise Richards of Washington, Iowa, and all of the wonderful doctors and healthcare providers that became part of Noahs family.
A memorial has been established in Noah Novotnys name at the Bank of The West.
