Norma Lou Duvall, age 76, passed away at the Wyoming Medical Center in Casper, Wyoming on November 10, 2005 of congestive heart failure.
Norma Lou was born March 14, 1929 on the family ranch southeast of Gillette to Glenn and Zaida (Rippey) Hayden. She attended the Hollander School through the eighth grade. In her senior year at Campbell County High School she completed Normal Training. After graduation in 1947, she taught one year in a rural school south of Gillette. Then she worked at the Corner Drug until her marriage. On September 24, 1950 she married Kenneth Duvall in Sheridan, Wyoming. Until 1951, the couple lived near Rozet, Wyoming. Then they moved to the ranch south of Gillette where she resided until her death. Norma enjoyed attending social events, visiting with friends and family, traveling and living on the ranch.
Norma is survived by her husband, Kenneth Duvall of Gillette, Wyoming; two daughters: Karen and Kenna Lou Duvall of Gillette, Wyoming; brother, Bob Hayden of Gillette, Wyoming; sister, Nita Rae Christensen of Casper, Wyoming and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers: Darrell Hayden, Donald Ike Hayden and Doyle Bud Hayden and one sister, Neva Wilmot.
