Gary was born to Orville and Juanita (Boyles) Haynes September 17, 1941 in Miles City, Montana. He attended grade school, high school and one year at MCC in Miles City then finished undergraduate school at Rocky Mountain College in Billings. He played football, basketball and ran track in High School and College. In 1963 he married Beverly Muri. Three children were added to this union: Kimberly, Bucky and Natalie. After he graduated from Marquette Dental School in Milwaukee, Wisconsin (1964-1968), he practiced dentistry in Miles City for 23 years and retired due to health issues.

He was a very handy man and helped his children out with electrical and remodeling jobs, as well as projects at his home. He loved planting and caring for a garden which always produced very abundantly. Boating and water skiing were a part of family activities. Gary served on the Bucking Horse Committee for many years. He loved life and never complained about adverse situations. He was a believer in Christ and trusted in Gods promises. We will miss him very much but look forward to meeting him some day in heaven.
