Orville Myran, age 84, passed away peacefully at Residential Living in Miles City, Montana on May 24, 2024, where he had resided since April 5, 2019.
He was born in Wibaux, Montana on August 5, 1939, the son of Otto Hilmer and Rosalie Elizabeth (Gribneau) Myran. At the age of two, Orville moved with his family from Wibaux, Montana to Kinsey, Montana.
Orville grew up and spent most of his life in Kinsey, Montana. He attended grade school in Kinsey and graduated from Custer County High School in Miles City. He was employed for several years at Mac’s Frontierland taking great pride in providing their night security.
Orville is survived by his son, Otto of Miles City, his sister Shirley Watts of Miles City, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Orville was preceded in death by two brothers Wayne Myran and Glenn Myran, and four sisters Frances Ziebarth, Luana Wellems, Evelyn Carey and Alice Ramsey.
The family would like to express a heartfelt thank you to the staff at Residential Living for the excellent care given to Orville.
