Pamela “Pam” Ayers died in the early morning hours on April 25, 2022.
Pam was born in Taft, California on December 24, 1954, to Bob and Lora Harp. The first of 6 children. She grew up in California.
After meeting the love of her life, Courtney Ayers, they were married on March 4 of 1972, Thus beginning a new adventure. They recently celebrated their fifty-year anniversary. The young city girl at just seventeen years old moved to the family ranch in Montana. She wasn’t a “city girl” for very long, she was a quick learner and soon was a “country gal” through and through. Starting their family, a couple years later. After five children their family was complete. Until the grandkids started coming along making the family larger and noisier and more blessed. She enjoyed riding with her kids when the family was young. She spent many hours fishing at the dam on the ranch, with her son Twain and her grandchildren. Fishing was always a peaceful time for her.
Many years were spent on the ranch working alongside her husband and children. For sixteen years she had the mail route out of Fallon. She enjoyed hauling mail, occasionally getting to visit with the many friends she made during this time. Pam was a hard worker, and a loving wife and mother.
She leaves behind, husband Courtney, children Twain Ayers, Lora Lee Davis (Ken) Nancy Ayers, Casey Keckler (JR) and Kate Watson (Joe) Grandchildren Colt, Tim, Trevor, Jordan, JC, Dallas, Deagan, Courtney, Jack and Bailey. Great grandchildren Kynlee, Rory and Brody. Mother, Lora McDonald, Siblings Debbie George (Ted), Rita Reiman (Rich), David McDonald (Ranet), Bobby Harp (Emma), and Lory Linton. Numerous nieces and nephews.
She is welcomed by her father, Bob Harp, stepfather Clyde McDonald, son in-law Chad Cochrun, her baby sister Edna Rene, her father in-law Newman Ayers, mother in-law Betty Ayers, and cousin Steve Ayers.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 6, 2022 at Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home in Miles City with family receiving friends from 4:00-6:00 p.m. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, May 7, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Ismay Community Church. I was very sad to hear about Pam. Blessings to all of you at this time. One of the last things she told me was that she hoped we could have another family gathering before we had to get together for another funeral. Little did we know that her’s would be the next funeral. I will miss her but I’m sure she will not miss her pain that she has been dealing with for so long. To all of Pam’s children, I want you to know that I know she loved you ALL very much. You had a special mom. Cherish your memories of her.
