Patricia Ann Brady Limpy was born on June 12, 1956 to Ellen Brady and Bob OneBear Sr. Her Cheyenne name was Esevona’e (Buffalo Woman).
She grew up in the White River community of Busby and never left Busby. She graduated from Northern Cheyenne High School in 1975. Her mom, Ellen, died when she was 6 years old and was raised by her grandmother Julia (American Horse) Roundstone and grandfather Martin Roundstone. Patricia enjoyed riding horses when she was growing up. Patricia is a direct descendant of Chief Dull Knife. She worked for the Northern Cheyenne Headstart from 1974-1977, a sales clerk for Lame Deer Trading from 1990-1994, but her heart was in the Community Health Program, where she worked as an Outreach Worker from 1994-2015. She loved her job, reading books, and spending time with her grandchildren. She was the first Cheyenne woman to have a fully beaded buckskin dress with sinew by Laura American Horse Rock Road

We wanted to share our condolences with Patricia’s family. It is never easy to have to say goodbye to a loved one. The pain of loss can be unbearable. Our Creator promises us that one day this pain will be just a memory. That beautiful promise can be found at Revelation 21:3,4. Our pain and suffering will be a thing of the past, and we can cry tears of joy as we welcome back the ones that we love so much. We hope you find comfort in those promises.
