Patrick Hager

Visitation: Will begin Friday, December 10, 2010 at 8:00 a.m. at Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home.

Family to Receive Friends: Friday, December 10, 2010 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home in Miles City.

Funeral service: Saturday, December 11, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home in Miles City.

Interment: Custer County Cemetery

Patrick Hager, age 61, of Miles City passed away on Monday, December 6, 2010 at the Holy Rosary Healthcare Center in Miles City.

Pat was born in Glendive, MT on December 22, 1948, the son of Richard and Dorothy (Hankins) Hager Meissel. At a very young age Pat and his parents moved to Miles City where he grew up and attended school at Sacred Heart and Custer County High School. After school Pat began working for Midland and soon after he started working for Doeden Construction. He worked as a carpenter for various construction companies in the Miles City area. Pat married Lala Henderson in 1966 in Miles City, MT. Pat began working for Pine Hills State School for several years until he met and married Lynn Marie White in 1978. Pat and Lynn made their home in Miles City and over the next years Pat worked several jobs which included working at Eastern Montana Industries and Miles City Laundry as well as owning a painting company with his father and brother Dan.. Pat also spent time on the Rural Fire Department and was a volunteer for the City Fire Department

Pat was an avid outdoorsman who loved to go camping, hunting, fishing and collecting agates. As a boy, Pat earned the Order of the Arrow in boy Scouts which he was always proud of achieving. He also enjoyed spending time painting and making model airplanes, but he truly enjoyed being able to spend time with his wife, children and grandchildren.

Pat is survived by his wife Lynn; two sons, Kenneth and John Hager of Miles City; two daughters, Sherri Gatlin of Miles City, and Jolee Hager of Miles City; In January of 2010, Pat and Lynn made their granddaughter, Jolie their forever child by adopting her. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Miley, Kylee, Lauren, Nekayla, Bryce, Jolie, and Kayden.

Pat was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Dan and David Hager and one sister Colette Morast.

Visitation will be held on Friday, December 10, 2010 at Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home with family receiving friends from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 11, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home in Miles City. Interment will follow in the family lot of the Custer County Cemetery in Miles City. Condolences may be sent to the family by visiting: www.stevensonandsons.com.
