My sympathy to Pat’s sister and brother and the extended family. I felt lucky to connect with Pat twice in the last 2 years when he was playing in Mandan. Many years ago, I followed Back Behind the Barn band. He was so talented and so darn much fun. He always made me laugh. RIP Pat!

I wanted to express my heartfelt condolences to all of Pat’s family. Death is the hardest thing we have to deal with in life. I know my words can’t change anything and can do little to ease the pain you are feeling, so I pray that the God of comfort calm your hearts and help you heal. (2 Thessalonians 2:16,17) Lean on Him in the days to follow. One way that God comforts us today is by moving people who care about us to give us words of encouragement that we need to hear. Anyone who ever spent 15 minutes with Pat will always remember him.
If they heard him play keyboard, they will know they have been blessed to hear THE BEST OF THE BEST.
Pat was a great big Duracell Bunny GIFT TO ALL OF US.
He was compassionate and goofy. A wizzard keyboard man and a comedian. He would comfort a lost child and find the Mother.
He would rescue a cat up in a tree and give you his last dollar. He would make you laugh when you were down
He would celebrate with you when you were happy.
He would always be there for you. He was happy to be his Mom’s caretaker.
When he was having a chemo treatment a couple of years ago, he posted on FB asking if someone would call her to say he would be home soon.
The chemo was running late and he didn’t want her to worry. I made that phone call. Pat got home while I was still talking to
Kathleen. Pat and I had a heartfelt talk . I am so grateful for that.
I am lucky to have known him.
    He made me better.
    We will always love him.
    We will always miss him.
    Be an AWESOME ANGEL
    But don’t fly too fast.
Your Angel wings are still growing,
And free time here is vast.
I bet there was a bunch of smiles when you stepped through the gate.
Your Mom, your Dad all the others you touched along your way.
    I’m a little selfish.
I wish you could have stayed.
But your biggest gig is happening,
So ROCK ON PAT. GO PLAY.

    To Pats family and friends;
I had the pleasure of having Pat as my bartender, when I was a sever at the Cattle-Ac, and was privileged to see and hear him play. He helped me get through a painful memory of loss of my own. He said, “Always remember, just because they are no longer here, they are always with you in your heart. Never forget that”. Pat made an instant friend with me that night. A friend that will never forget. I will miss you greatly my friend, say hi to the one we discussed that night for me please. R.I.P. Pat
