In Memory Of

Paul Boschee, age 88, of Forsyth

January 28, 1927 – March 20, 2015

Paul Boschee, 88, of Forsyth went to be with his Lord and Savior on March 20, 2015.  Born in Bismarck, North Dakota, Paul was the youngest child of Katherine and Mathias Boschee. He grew up and worked on the family farm near Cartersville and attended school in Rosebud until he enlisted in the US Army during WWII.  He was honorably discharged and returned to Cartersville where he met the love of his life, Ruth Marie Lentz.  They were married on December 27, 1948. To this union, two children were born: Ronald Ray Boschee and Nancy Ann Boschee (Wagner). While raising his family, Paul worked as an engineer on the Burlington North Railroad, retiring after 50 years.

Paul enjoyed dancing, playing cards and spending time with his family.  Paul was a lifelong member of the Concordia Lutheran Church of Forsyth.

He was preceded in death by his parents, 7 siblings, his son, his granddaughter Brandi Lynn, and son-in law George Blanchard.  He is survived by his wife, daughter, sister Lillian Bleile (Anaconda), daughter-in-law Beverly Nile (Forsyth), 3 grandchildren: Shara Boschee (Billings), Danielle Field (Nevada), and Ryan Blanchard (New Mexico), 3 great grandchildren: Zach, Willow, and Julia as well as numerous nieces and nephews.  Paul would be honored, in lieu of flowers, if memorials would be made to the Concordia Lutheran Church or American Diabetes Association.

Viewing will take place from 1pm to 5pm on Wednesday, March 25th at Stevenson’s and Sons Funeral Home in Forsyth, MT.

Funeral services will be held at the Concordia Lutheran Church at 11am on Thursday, March 26th with internment directly after the service at the Forsyth Cemetery.

A lunch will be offered after the internment at Stevenson’s and Sons Funeral Home.

Condolences may be sent to the family by visiting www.stevensonandsons.com.

So sorry to learn of the passing of Paul. May his memories keep a ray of hope in this dark time. He was always so much fun. I can still see Paul and Ruth cutting the rug at C Club, Oak Room and Veterans Center. Always a great time on bingo night at the Vets Center. He will certainly be missed.

To all of Paul and Ruth’s family,
I only knew Paul for about 3 years, working at Fountain View Assisted Living, but I felt like I had known him for years. My Great Aunt and Uncle, Jeannie and Lee Riley, used to play cards with Paul and Ruth years ago and often told me stories about those times. It made me feel a bit closer to Paul and Ruth knowing they were good friends of my Aunt and Uncle. Paul was sort of intimidating to me at first, but once I got to know him, he was a kind, sensitive man and every now and then I could even get a hug out of him! I always knew when Paul was in a good mood because he would sing this little ditty as he was walking around. He will truly be missed and i’m proud to say that I had the chance to know him. Rest in peace Paul~

    Ruth, Nancy, Bev and families.
You are all in my thoughts…Paul was a joy. He and Ruth were a constant icon of LOVE and family. He will be missed.
As the Lord welcoms Paul to his heavenly home, may he also wrap his arms around you as you begin your journey of grief. With heartfelt sympathy- Kay Crosby Dooley
