Mass of Christian Burial: Tuesday, June 7, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church

Rite of Committal: to follow in the Custer County Cemetery

Pauline Elizabeth Braunbeck, age 88, of Lewistown, MT formerly of Miles City passed away on June 4, 2005 in Lewistown, MT.

Pauline was born on January 8, 1917 in Glendive, MT to Jacob and Minnie (Knoll) Fisher. As a child, the family moved to Missoula where Pauline attended schools. She met Joe Braunbeck who was stationed at the CC Camp in Missoula. They were married on June 19, 1937 in the St. Francis Xavier Church in Missoula, MT. They moved to Glendive for three years where their three children were born; Joe, Shirley and Moonyean. They then moved to Miles City where Pauline worked for the Furniture Store, McDonalds Clothing Store and for the St. Vincent de Paul Store. After Joes retirement, they traveled around visiting family and enjoying the sights. After Joes death, Pauline remained in Miles City where she lived for several years. Later Pauline was moved to a nursing home in Lewistown to be closer to her family where she remained until her death. Pauline was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She enjoyed traveling and gardening. Pauline especially enjoyed and loved her family.

Pauline is survived by her daughters; Shirley (Don) Sorlie of Harwood, ND and Moonyean (Jerry) Tessmer of Athens, WI, her daughter-in-law; Boni Braunbeck of Lewistown, MT, two sisters-in-law; Martha Braunbeck of Miles City, MT and Bertha Northrop of Missoula, twelve grandchildren, twenty-two great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by her husband Joe in 1995, her son Joe Braunbeck, JR in 2005, brothers Ted Fisher and Leo Fisher, and one sister; Elenor Lennox.

Visitation will be held on Monday, June 6, 2005 at Stevenson and Sons funeral Home in Miles City. A Vigil Service will be held on Monday, June 6, 2005 at 6:30 pm at Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Tuesday, June 7, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Rite of Committal will follow in the Custer County Cemetery. Should friends desire, memorials may be made to the Sacred Heart Catholic Church; 519 North Center, Miles City, MT or to the charity of one's choice.
