Pauline Holland, age 83, died on Sunday, July 13, 2003 at the Pioneer Manor in Gillette, Wyoming of natural causes.
Pauline Holland was born on August 2, 1919, the daughter of Frank and Clara (Heidt) Wilhelm in Scheffield, North Dakota. She was raised and educated in Dickinson, North Dakota, where she met and married her husband, Arthur Holland on July 15, 1939. She and Art then moved to Beach, North Dakota, where they lived until Arts death in 1971. During this time, she owned and operated The Royal Beauty Salon. In 1972, Pauline moved to Connecticut where she lived with her sister Rose Horrigan, her husband, and daughter Sharon. She later moved to Queche, Vermont where she and her friend Paul Lebel lived until Pauls death in 1991. Pauline then moved to Sandy, Oregon with her son Darrell and his wife Jean. She also spent time in Renton, Washington with her son Arthur and his wife Donna. In 1994, Pauline moved to Gillette. She was a member of St. Matthews Catholic Church.
Pauline is survived by her son, Darrell (Jean) Holland of Gillette, Wyoming; eight grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
A Memorial Service for Pauline Holland will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, July 21, 2003 at the Stevenson-Wilson Funeral Home Chapel in Gillette, Wyoming with Father Perry Moses of the St. Matthews Catholic Church officiating.If you wish to send the family condolences please send an email to:swfh@intrq.com.
