Peggy Herman

April 16, 1957 – December 30, 2011

Peggy Rose Herman, age 54 of Colstrip, MT passed away December 30, 2011 at her home of natural causes.
Peggy was born April 16, 1957 in Great Falls, MT to Gerry and Eleanor Ryan. She attended school in Billings, MT graduating from Billings West High School. In 1990 she married Scott Herman in Colstrip, MT. Peggy worked as a bartender and waitress in the Oil Patch in Wibaux, MT, Beach, ND, and Colstrip, MT. She also was a substitute teacher in Colstrip, MT.
One of her passions was spending time working with her friends at the Moose Lodge. She was an avid supporter of Women of The Moose and enjoyed bowling with the women. Peggy enjoyed gardening, hunting with her husband Scott and spending time with her family and friends. For several years she worked the Ducks Unlimited Banquet and for more than 15 years she organized the Easter egg hunt sponsored by the Moose Lodge in Colstrip, MT. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
As well as her husband Scott, she is survived by her children, Anjeneen Simonson of Las Vegas, NV, Jackson Smith of Savannah, GA, Louis Herman of Colstrip, MT and Benjamin Herman of Colstrip, MT currently in the us Navy boot camp in Great Lakes, IL, her father and stepmother, Gerry and Mary Ryan of Helena, MT, her mother, Eleanor Vorderbruggen of Floodwood, MN, her siblings, Terri (Dave) Keith of Great Falls, MT, Barb Ryan of Great Falls, MT, Chris Ryan of Arizona, Casey (Brenda) Ryan of Billings, MT and John Ryan of Missoula, MT.
A memorial service will be held 10 am Friday, January 6, 2012 at the Moose Lodge in Colstrip, MT. Private family burial will take place at a later date.
Stevenson and Sons Funeral Home in Forsyth, MT have been entrusted with these arrangements.

    Love you all:) Spent many years babysitting for Peggy. Changing diapers and wrestling Jackson to keep him in line:) Love you all like family and glad i saw Peggy this summer at Colstrip days. She so proud of all her young men! Praying for you all and look forward to hugging you at funeral and celebrating her life.

    My heart was broken when I heard the news, I wanted so much to grab my 3 boys and hug them and tell them i love u, and ur mama loved u very much, she was proud of each of u, peggy and i shared some great times, she was there when u needed a friend, she was always helpin someone, shes now in the Lords garden, one picked just for her, more beautiful than any garden on earth, and when i see the flowers in my yard on the mtn, i will know my friend is with me, hugs mama sopher
