Perthina Rose Sparvier, age 39, of Poplar, Montana passed away Saturday, October 27, 2007 suddenly and unexpectantly at Billings Clinic.
Perthina was born in Poplar, MT on April 1, 1968 to Savannah Mabel Eagle Boy and Eugene George Sparvier. She grew up and attended schools in Poplar. She had four children, Savannah, Joshua and Chelsea Sparvier and Ariel Carpentier.
Perthina was a happy, strong and kind woman who often put her family and others before herself. Her hobbies were cooking, taking walks, taking rides, listening to music and spending time with family and friends. When she was younger she enjoyed playing basketball, volleyball, cards and dice. She also liked to attend events that involved her children. She would always encourage family and friends to do better in everything. She was well respected and known to be a hard worker in the jobs she performed. Her favorite quote and aspect of life was, Life is too short to be grumpy all the time.
Perthina Rose Sparvier is survived by her companion, Eddy Welch of Poplar; and her children (whom she loved), Savannah (John) of Albuquerque, NM, Joshua Aaron, Chelsea Loren and her baby girl, Ariel Carpentier, all of Poplar; a granddaughter (who meant the world to her) Jessica of Albuquerque, NM; her sisters Sandra (Buddy) Adams of Ft. Kipp, Dallas Eagle Boy of Albuquerque, NM, Verdine (Allen) Russell, Sr., Kimberly Sparvier and Yolanda (Don) Jackson all of Poplar; her brothers Joel G. Sparvier of Poplar and Robin Keith Sparvier of Harlam, MT; Nieces and nephews and their families include: Laura and GreyHorse Eagle Boy and Raven Teboe of Albuquerque, NM, Michael (Avery, Morgan and Sara) and Traci Russell, Cory, Shane, and Nelson Olney and Noah Eugene Sparvier and two special granddaughters Kristin Jonita Faith and Nicole Page Parshall; aunts and uncles include: Flora, Willie Boy, Irene and Floyd, and Arnold Eagle Boy all of Poplar; Gloria Buckles of Minot, ND, Gaye, Robin, Shirley Sparvier and Beverly Bunn of WhiteBear, Sask; other extended family include: the IronBear and Red Eagle families of Poplar and Kidder family of Ft. Yates, ND and many other aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Perthina is preceded in death by her parents, two sisters Jonita Faith Parshall and Emerald J. Olney and her grandparents Matthew and Rose (No Breast) Eagle Boy and Jenny Lambert. Tina will be missed greatly by family, friends and all who knew her.
