Funeral service for Philip Bard, known to his family and friends as PJ will be at 2:00 PM, Friday, August 13, 2004 at the Stevenson-Wilson Funeral Home Chapel in Gillette, Wyoming. Interment will follow at the Mount Pisgah Cemetery in Gillette. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM and from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Thursday, August 12, 2004 at the Stevenson-Wilson Funeral Home Chapel in Gillette.
PJ Bard, age 26, of Gillette, Wyoming died at the Wyoming Medical Center in Casper, Wyoming due to injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.
Philip Merrill Bard, Jr. was born August 10, 1977, the son of Philip Merrill and Janet Elaine (Tomlinson) Bard Sr. in Federal Way, Washington. PJ was raised and educated in Washington. Upon his schooling, he moved to Wyoming, where he began his career in welding. He was employed with Gregs Welding at the time of his death.
PJ loved his motorcycle. He is known for his outgoing personality and enjoying his life. He was an active member in Narcotics Anonymous.
PJ is survived by his fianc, Maria Hair; one son, Austin Bard; two step-daughters: Ashley and Samantha; two step-sons: Daniel and Jacob; one sister, Cassie Furrell of Missoula, MT; two nephews; four nieces; one great nephew; one great niece; and numerous aunts uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.
